Class cancellation

Official classes are cancelled on July 16 and 18. The gym is still open for students who wish to practice as they wish.

July Schedule Change

The class schedule will be moving Saturday classes to Thursday evenings. This is a change from from Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday to Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. This will be effective today, and will remain for the rest of July 2012. The new Thursday class has the same hours as the MWF classes, (4:30-6pm).

Canada Day Break

There will be no class on Monday July 2nd for the holiday. Classes will resume as normal on Wednesday.

Mustard sensei details

As promised, details are here! The session times are as follows:

Friday, June 15: 3pm-5pm
Saturday, June 16: 1pm-3pm
Saturday, June 16: 4pm-6pm

There is an entrance fee of $50 per session or $100 for all three sessions.

Mustard sensei returns!

Aikido Edmonton will be again hosting the incredibly skilled and knowledgable Mustard sensei over the weekend of June 15th, 2012. Mustard sensei is a Yoshinkan 7th Dan Shihan who operates a dojo in Burnaby, BC. For more information about him and his dojo, visit Details about the upcoming seminar will be released soon.


Gagliano Sensei Practice Times

The sessions that Gagliano Sensei will be teaching are scheduled at:

  1. Friday, January 20 - 1:00pm to 3:00pm
  2. Friday, January 20 - 4:00pm to 6:00pm
  3. Saturday, January 21 - 11:30am to 1:30pm

Sensei Gagliano comes to Edmonton

The Edmonton Aikido Club is fortunate to have Sensei Paul Gagliano, sixth degree black belt, visit our dojo and provide instruction on January 20 and 21.

     Sensei Gagliano teaches at the Aikido Yoshinkan Canada (AYC) Club in Toronto. Anyone who is interested in attending our training sessions is welcome to join us. Times will be provided at a later date.

    A note about fees for Mustard Sensei's visit

    As previously noted, be aware that the fee for attending one session is $50 or $80 for admittance to both. Payment will be made at the door, cash only.
