COVID-19 Indefinite Closure

Due to the continuing public health risk of COVID-19, we will not be resuming classes for the foreseeable future. When Alberta Health's assessment of the situation changes, we will also re-evaluate our availability.

COVID-19 Class Cancellations

Due to Alberta Health's recent COVID-19 recommendation to cancel large events and reduce contact in smaller ones, we are suspending classes for at least two weeks. That means that the following days will have no class:

  • Sat, March 14
  • Mon, March 16
  • Thu, March 19
  • Sat, March 21
  • Mon, March 23
  • Thu, March 26
  • Sat, March 28

We will re-evaluate at that time to determine whether additional cancellations are warranted.

The easiest battle is the one never fought. These preventative measures are intended to reduce the chance to spread to vulnerable populations like the elderly and immunocompromised. Slowing down transmission means that those who do/will need need limited medical resources (eg. ventilators) do not all need them at same time.

Remember the first Basic Element: Relax. There is no need to panic, just be reasonable and cautious.

Winter Break 2019

The final class of 2019 will be Monday, December 23rd. After that, there will be no classes until the new year, when we resume on Thursday January 2nd, 2020.

Have a great break, everyone!
